LJxx04xx & QJxx04xx Triacs
Littelfuse LJxx04xx and QJxx04xx Triacs are 4A, high-temperature sensitive, and standard solid-state triacs designed for AC switching and phase control applications. These triacs employ sensitive type components that guarantee gate control in quadrants I and IV needed for digital control circuitry. The LJxx04xx and QJxx04xx triacs also come with standard type components that normally operate in quadrants I and III triggered from AC line. These triacs incorporate solid-state switching that eliminates arcing or contact bounce that creates voltage transients. The LJxx04xx and QJxx04xx triacs provide restricted (or limited) Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) generation that depends on the activation point of the sine wave. Typical applications include motor speed and temperature modulation controls, lighting controls, and static switching relays. 
High-Temperature Sensitive Alternistor TRIACs
Littelfuse High-Temperature Sensitive Alternistor TRIACs are a combination of space-saving packaging and high-temperature capabilities. These triacs are well-suited for IoT applications that require compact designs without the involvement of continuous high currents. The high-temperature sensitive alternistor triacs feature clip-attach assembly combined with 150°C high maximum junction temperature. These triacs also provide 8A AC control in a compact surface-mount package. The high-temperature alternistor triacs provide larger thermal margin in design and ensures higher surge capability to withstand short-duration overload conditions. Typical applications include motor control and large appliances, lighting AC control, building automation, and industrial control.
