The MM74HC573 high speed octal D-type latches utilize advanced silicon-gate P-well CMOS technology. They possess the high noise immunity and low power consumption of standard CMOS integrated circuits, as well as the ability to drive 15 LS-TTL loads. Due to the large output drive capability and the 3-STATE feature, these devices are ideally suited for interfacing with bus lines in a bus organized system. When the LATCH ENABLE(LE) input is HIGH, the Q outputs will follow the D inputs. When the LATCH ENABLE goes LOW, data at the D inputs will be retained at the outputs until LATCH ENABLE returns HIGH again. When a HIGH logic level is applied to the OUTPUT CONTROL OC input, all outputs go to a HIGH impedance state, regardless of what signals are present at the other inputs and the state of the storage elements. The 74HC logic family is speed, function and pinout compatible with the standard 74LS logic family. All inputs are protected from damage due to static discharge by internal diode clamps to VCC and ground.

The MM74HC245A 3-STATE bidirectional buffer utilizes advanced silicon-gate CMOS technology, and is intended for two-way asynchronous communication between data buses. It has high drive current outputs which enable high speed operation even when driving large bus capacitances. This circuit possesses the low power consumption and high noise immunity usually associated with CMOS circuitry, yet has speeds comparable to low power Schottky TTL circuits. This device has an active LOW enable input G# and a direction control input, DIR. When DIR is HIGH, data flows from the A inputs to the B outputs. When DIR is LOW, data flows from the B inputs to the A outputs. The MM74HC245A transfers true data from one bus to the other. This device can drive up to 15 LS-TTL Loads, and does not have Schmitt trigger inputs. All inputs are protected from damage due to static discharge by diodes to VCC and ground.

The LCX245 contains eight non-inverting bidirectional buffers with 3-STATE outputs and is intended for bus oriented applications. The device is designed for low voltage (2.5V and 3.3V) VCC applications with capability of interfacing to a 5V signal environment. The T/R# input determines the direction of data flow through the device. The OE# input disables both the A and B ports by placing them in a high impedance state. The LCX245 is fabricated with an advanced CMOS technology to achieve high speed operation while maintaining CMOS low power dissipation.
