VersaClock® Programmable Clock ICs
IDT VersaClock® Programmable Clock ICs are designed to simplify system design by replacing multiple discrete timing components. These programmable clock ICs feature 1.8V to 3.3V operating voltage, differential and LVCMOS output types, multiple fractional dividers, and up to 3 Phase-Locked Loops (PLLs). The VersaClock programmable clock ICs offer a combination of flexibility, low power consumption, and performance to simplify system design. These programmable clock ICs can lower costs by reducing Bill Of Materials (BOM) and board space. The VersaClock programmable ICs are ideal for consumer, telecommunications, data communications, and networking applications.
VersaClock® 6E Programmable Clock Generators
IDT VersaClock® 6E Programmable Clock Generators are designed for high-performance networking, computing, industrial, consumer, and data communication applications. These sixth generation clock generators store the configurations in on-chip One-Time Programmable (OTP) memory or they can be changed using I2C interface. The VersaClock 6E programmable clock generators feature flexible power-rails, four banks of internal OTP memory, I2C serial programming interface, and four universal, individually configurable output pairs.A single reference clock, which can come with one or two redundant clock inputs, generates the frequencies. During normal operation, a glitchless manual switchover function allows one of the redundant clocks to be selected. These VersaClock 6E programmable clock generators can be configured to use one of two I2C addresses so that multiple devices can be used in a system. The VersaClock 6E programmable clock generators are ideal for processor and FPGA clocking, any-frequency clock conversion, telecom line cards, laser distance sensing, and multi-function printers.
