Gate Drivers
Diodes Incorporated Gate Drivers cover a multitude of applications in power systems and motor drives. These gate drivers act as the interface between microcontroller and IGBT or MOSFET power switches. Diodes Incorporated gate drivers provide optimum drive characteristics while controlling shoot-through.
DGD Half-Bridge Gate Drivers
Diodes Incorporated DGD Half-Bridge Gate Drivers are high-voltage and high-speed gate drivers capable of driving N-channel MOSFETs and IGBTs in a half-bridge configuration. High-voltage processing techniques enable the high side to switch to the offset voltage in a bootstrap operation. The DGD logic inputs are compatible with standard TTL and CMOS levels (down to 3.3V) to interface easily with controlling devices. Diodes Incorporated gate drivers are ideal for DC-DC converters, DC-AC inverters, AC-DC power supplies, motor controls, and Class D power amplifiers.
DGD21x High-Voltage & High-Speed Gate Drivers
Diodes Inc. DGD21x High-Voltage & High-Speed Gate Drivers easily switch power MOSFETs and IGBTs in half-bridge and full-bridge configurations. The DGD21x feature high-side and low-side output drive capability. These drivers have simple logic level input and provide an easy interface between the controller and power MOSFET/IGBT switches. The DGD21x support up to 600V using a floating high-side driver that allows for operation on high-voltage rails used in power supplies, motor drives and DC-DC inverters.
DGDx 3-Phase Half-Bridge Gate Drivers
Diodes Incorporated DGDx 3-Phase Half-Bridge Gate Drivers drive N-Channel MOSFETs and IGBTs in a half-bridge configuration. These gate drivers incorporate high-voltage processing techniques to allow the high side to switch to 100V / 600V in bootstrap operation. The logic inputs are compatible with standard TTL and CMOS levels down to 3.3V for easy interfacing. The outputs feature high-pulse current buffers designed for minimum driver cross-conduction. Diodes Incorporated DGDx gate drivers feature shoot-through protection logic, undervoltage lockout for VCC, and overcurrent protection. These devices are offered in SO-28 (type TH) package with an operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. These drivers are designed for high-voltage / high-speed applications. Typical applications include three-phase motor inverter drivers and general purpose three-phase inverters.
