MPM Power Modules
MPS MPM Power Modules, available in single or dual channel, are integrated DC/DC solutions with excellent load and line regulation. These step-down DC-DC converters feature built-in internal power MOSFETs and power inductors. The Constant-On-Time (COT) control scheme provides a fast transient response, high light-load efficiency, and easy loop stabilization. These modules require a minimum number of readily-available standard external components, simplifying power system design. They also have a small surface-mount footprint, due to their compact QFN package. All MPS parts are lead-free, halogen-free, and adhere to the RoHS directive.
Monolithic Power Systems MPM3830 Synchronous Step-Down Converter
Monolithic Power Systems MPM3830 is designed as a step-down module converter with built-in power MOSFETs and inductor. MPM3830 achieves 3A continuous output current from a 2.7V to 6V input voltage with excellent load and line regulation. Designers can use the MPM3830 to regulate output voltage as low as 0.6V. The constant-on-time control (COT) scheme delivers fast transient response, high light-load efficiency, and easy loop stabilization package. Fault condition protection includes cycle-by-cycle current limit and thermal shutdown (TSD). Available in a small surface-mount QFN-20 (3mm x 5mm x 1.6mm) package, the MPM3830 is ideal for powering portable equipment running from a single cell lithium-ion (Li+) battery. Learn More
