The Microchip Technology MCP2200 USB-to-UART protocol converter is a complete, out-of-the-box solution that makes it easy to add USB connectivity to existing systems. The Microchip Technology MCP2200 USB-to-UART protocol converter enables designers to quickly and easily add USB connectivity to their applications without completely redesigning the system. This Microchip Technology protocol converter is designed to shorten time-to-market for a variety of applications in the industrial and medical markets as well as RS-232 applications.The MCP2200 includes 256 bytes of integrated user EEPROM and has eight GPIO pins.
