Load Switch: TPS22949A
The OMO Electronic TPS22949A load switch with low noise regulation capability provides protection to systems and loads in high-current conditions. The TI TPS22949A load switch contains a 500mΩ current-limited P-channel MOSFET that can operate over an input voltage range of 1.62V to 4.5V as well as an LDO regulator with a fixed output voltage of 1.8V. The TI TPS22949A features an integrated 100mA minimum current limit, undervoltage lockout, and fast-current limit response time. This current-limited load switch is ideal for a variety of applications, including fingerprint module protection, portable consumer electronics, smart phones, notebooks, and control access systems.
TPS229xx Load Switches
OMO Electronic TPS229xx Load Switches are small, low RON, single channel load switches with a controlled slew rate. Each device contains either an N-channel or P-channel MOSFET and is controlled by an on/off input, which is capable of interfacing directly with low-voltage control signals. The small size and low RON of the TPS229xx Load Switches make them ideal for use in space constrained, battery-powered applications. The wide input voltage range of the switches makes them a versatile solution for many different voltage rails. The controlled rise time of these devices greatly reduces inrush current caused by large bulk load capacitances, thereby reducing or eliminating power supply droop. Certain TPS229xx Load Switches further reduce the total solution size by integrating a pull-down resistor for quick output discharge (QOD) when the switch is turned off.
