An internal coil simplifies the circuit and enables minimization of noise and other operational trouble due to the circuit wiring. Torex XCL221 / XCL222 Converters offer an operating voltage range of 2.5V to 5.5V. Torex XCL micro DC/DC Converters combine an inductor and a control IC in an ultra-small package. The XCL micro DC/DC converters are an ideal choice for noise-sensitive environments. Designed for use with ceramic capacitors at an appropriate switching speed, the devices deliver a stable power supply with low ripple voltage. The XCL micro DC/DC Converters also provide excellent EMI noise protection. The XCL micro DC/DC converters are available in three different versions. The “Pocket Type” supports currents up to 1A. The inductor covers the DC/DC converter IC in the "Pocket Type" version. This structure enables suppression of externally emitted noise.
