IR432x Audio Amplifiers and Evaluation Boards
Infineon IR4321 and IR4322 PowIRaudio™ devices integrate a PWM controller and digital audio MOSFETs to form high-performance Class D audio amplifiers. As a result of fully optimized MOSFETs co-packed with a dedicated controller IC, IR432x amplifiers operate without mechanical heatsink attached in a typical music playback usage. High voltage ratings and noise immunity in the controller IC ensures reliable operation over various environmental conditions. These audio amplifiers are ideal for use in a variety of applications, including home theater systems, docking station audio systems, game consoles, and more.  Infineon  IRAUDAMP21 and IRAUDAMP22 are reference design boards supporting IR432x audio amplifier ICs.Learn More
PowIRaudio™ Integrated Power Modules
Infineon PowIRaudio™ Compact Integrated Power Modules are designed for high performance home theater systems and car audio amplifiers. They each integrate a PWM controller and two digital audio power MOSFETs in a single package, forming a high performance Class D audio amplifier. These integrated power modules offer a highly efficient, compact solution that reduces component count, shrinks PCB size up to 70%, and simplifies Class D amplifier design. The combination of an advanced audio controller IC with MOSFETs fully optimized for audio performance results in improved efficiency, THD, and EMI, allowing the IR43xxM family to operate without a mechanical heatsink over a wide power supply range on either a single or split power supply. High voltage ratings and noise immunity ensure reliable operation over various environmental conditions. These Class D solutions are proven to offer equivalent audio performance to Class AB amplifiers while providing the additional benefits of higher efficiency and smaller size.
