S12ZVM Microcontrollers
NXP Semiconductors MagniV S12ZVM Microcontrollers (MCUs) offer a small, efficient, and scalable 3-phase motor control solution for industrial and automotive applications. The S12ZVM MCUs are ideal for use with Brushless DC Motors (BLDC), Permanent-Magnet Synchronous Motors (PMSM), and Switched Reluctance Motors (SRM).MagniV S12ZVM MCUs feature an enhanced S12Z core, a combination of dual-ADC synchronized with PWM generation, and the integration of high-voltage analog modules. The analog modules include a Voltage Regulator (VREG), Gate Drive Unit (GDU), and either Local Interconnect Network (LIN) Physical Layer, or Controller Area Network (CAN) Physical Layer. These features enable a fully integrated single chip solution to drive up to 6 external power MOSFETs for BLDC or PMSM motor drive applications.S12ZVM MCUs also include Error Correction Code (ECC) on RAM and flash memory, EEPROM for diagnostic or data storage, a fast Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC), and a Frequency Modulated Phase Locked Loop (IPLL) that improves the Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) performance.MagniV S12ZVM Microcontrollers are available in different pin-out options, using 80-pin, 64-pin, and 48-pin LQFP-EP packages for design flexibility.Learn More
