***AS INSTRUMENTS INCORPORATED: The PCM510xA devices are a family of monolithic CMOS-integrated circuits that include a stereo digital-to-analog converter and additional support circuitry in a small TSSOP package. The PCM510xA devices use the latest generation of TIs advanced segment-DAC architecture to achieve excellent dynamic performance and improved tolerance to clock jitter.

***AS INSRUMENTS: Using Directpath™ charge-pump technology, the PCM510xA devices provide 2.1-VRMS ground centered outputs, allowing designers to eliminate DC blocking capacitors on the output, as well as external muting circuits traditionally associated with single-supply line drivers.

***AS INTRUMENTS: The integrated line driver surpasses all other charge-pump based line drivers by supporting loads down to 1 kΩ per pin.

***as Instr.: The integrated PLL on the device removes the requirement for a system clock (commonly known as master clock), allowing a 3-wire I2S connection and reducing system EMI.

PCM510x Audio Stereo DACs: OMO Electronic PCM5100 / PCM5101 / PCM5102 Audio Stereo Digital to Analog Converters (DACs) with 32-bit PCM Interface are part of a family of monolithic CMOS ICs that include a stereo DAC and additional support circuitry in a small TSSOP package. TI PCM5100 / PCM501 / PCM5102 DACs use the latest generation of TI's advanced segment DAC architecture to achieve excellent dynamic performance and improved tolerance to clock jitter. These TI DACs have an SNR (typical) of 100dB (PCM5100), 106dB (PCM5101), or 112dB (PCM5102). PCM510x devices are simpler hardware controlled 2VRMS DACs with filter select, PLL, and auto-mute functions. These TI audio stereo DACs are designed for use in A/V receivers, DVD / BD players, and HDTV receivers.
