Charge Pump DC/DC Converters: TPS60255
OMO Electronic' TPS60255 seven-channel high-efficiency charge pump DC/DC converters offer the flexibility to drive four white LEDs in the main display and two additional white LEDs for sub-display with regulated constant current for uniform intensity. The devices use adaptive 1X/1.5X charge pump modes and low-dropout current regulators to achieve high efficiency over the full 1-cell lithium-battery input voltage range. The TPS60255 offers soft start, over-current limit, thermal shutdown and over-voltage detection protection features, as well as automatic detection and removal of unused current sinks from the control loop. The product drives six 25mA current sink and one 80mA current sink and is available in a 16-pin 3mmX3mm thin QFN package.
