***rchild Semiconductor: The FPF2165R is a load switch that provides full protection to systems and loads which may encounter large current conditions. These devices contain a 0.12Ω current-limited Pchannel MOSFET which can operate over an input voltage range of 1.8-5.5V. Internally, current is prevented from flowing when the MOSFET is off and the output voltage is higher than the input voltage. Switch control is by a logic input (ON) capable of interfacing directly with low voltage control signals. Each part contains thermal shutdown protection which shuts off the switch to prevent damage to the part when a continuous over-current condition causes excessive heating.When the switch current reaches the current limit, the parts operate in a constant-current mode to prohibit excessive currents from causing damage. The FPF2165R will not turn off after a current limit fault, but will rather remain in the constant current mode indefinitely. The minimum current limit is 150mA. These parts are available in a space-saving 6 pin 2X2 MLP package.

FPF1320 and FPF1321 devices are suitable for wireless charging applications with a dual-input single-output (DISO) load switch. These Fairchild switches perform seamless power-source transitions between two input power rails using the SEL pin with an advanced break-before-make operation. FPF1320 and FPF1321 are designed to interface directly with low-voltage control signal General Purpose Input Output (GPIO) applications.

PF2x Over Current Protected Switches: ON Semiconductor FPF2x Over-current protected switches prevent excessive current and trigger one of three fault conditions. Auto restart will automatically shut down the part and attempt to restart at the defined "auto restart time" interval until the fault is cleared. The Shutdown feature will automatically shut down the part and requires a power cycle on the "ON" pin to clear the fault. The Constant Current feature will limit the current to the fixed or user-defined value.
