AccuPower Over-Current Protection Load Switches
On Semiconductor AccuPower™ Adjustable Over-Current Protection Load Switches provide full protection to systems and loads from excess current conditions. The FPF270X family contains a slew-rate-controlled N-Channel MOSFET and slew-rated turn-on to prevent power bus disturbances from being caused by hot plugging loads or momentary excess load demands. The AccuPower™ Load Switches feature 2.8V to 36V input voltage range, typical RDS(ON) of 88mΩ, adjustable current limit of 0.4A to 2A, controlled slew rate, thermal shutdown, UVLO protection, and power-good output. The typical applications of the FPF270X family are motor drives, digital cameras, consumer electronics, computing, hard disk drives, and telecom equipment.

PF2x Over Current Protected Switches
ON Semiconductor FPF2x Over-current protected switches prevent excessive current and trigger one of three fault conditions. Auto restart will automatically shut down the part and attempt to restart at the defined "auto restart time" interval until the fault is cleared. The Shutdown feature will automatically shut down the part and requires a power cycle on the "ON" pin to clear the fault. The Constant Current feature will limit the current to the fixed or user-defined value.
