MAX2981 / MAX2982 Powerline Transceivers
Maxim Integrated's MAX2981 powerline communication analog front-end (AFE) and line-driver ICs are state-of-the-art CMOS devices that deliver high performance at low cost. The highly integrated design of the Maxim Integrated MAX2981 powerline communication AFE and line-driver IC combines an analog-to-digital converter, digital-to-analog converter, adaptive gain control, filters, and line driver on a single chip. This device substantially reduces previously required system components and complies with the HomePlug 1.0® standard. These Maxim Integrated devices are ideal for use in local area networking, broadband-over-powerline, and remote monitoring and control applications. MAX2982 powerline transceiver utilizes state-of-the-art CMOS design techniques to deliver the highest level of performance, flexibility, and operational temperature range at reduced cost.
