NCD5700 and NCD5701 IGBT Gate Drivers
ON Semiconductor NCD5700 and NCD5701 Insulated-Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT) Gate Drivers are high-current, high-performance devices for high power applications, such as solar inverters, motor control, and Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPSs). These Gate Drivers are highly-integrated, offering a cost-effective solution by eliminating many external components.Device protection features of the NCD5700 and NCD5701 Gate Drivers include accurate Under-Voltage Lockout (UVLO), Desaturation Protection (DESAT) and Active Low FAULT output. Depending on the pin configuration the devices also include an Active Miller Clamp and separate High and Low (VOH and VOL) driver outputs for system design convenience.The NCD5700 and NCD5701 Gate Drivers offer an accurate 5.0V output. These Drivers are designed to accommodate a wide voltage range of bias supplies including unipolar and bipolar voltages. The NCD5700 is offered in a 16-pin SOIC package. All three available pin configuration variants of the NCD5701 have an 8-pin SOIC package.Learn More
