OMO Electronic LMX2572 6.4GHz Low-Power Wideband RF Synthesizers deliver high-performance with frequencies generated from 12.5MHz to 6.4GHz free of an internal doubler. Consuming a small 75mA from a single 3.3V supply, the PLL offers amazing performance with low-power consumption. FSK modulation is supported through the LMX2572 for wireless applications including digital mobile radio and microphones. Through programming or pins, direct digital FSK modulation is can be attained. Applications that need a deterministic delay between input and output are enabled while the LMX2572 provides designers an opportunity to synchronize the output of multiple devices.
LMX2572 Low-Power Wideband RF Synthesizer
OMO Electronic LMX2572 Low-Power Wideband RF Synthesizer can generate any frequency from 12.5MHz to 6.4GHz without using an internal doubler. The PLL delivers excellent performance while consuming just 75mA from a single 3.3V supply. The LMX2572 allows users to synchronize the output of multiple devices and also enables applications that need a deterministic delay between input and output. An option is provided to adjust the phase with fine granularity to account for delay mismatch on the board or within devices. A frequency ramp generator can synthesize up to 2 segments of a ramp in an automatic ramp generation option or a manual option for maximum flexibility. The fast calibration algorithm allows changing frequencies faster than 20µs. The LMX2572 also supports generating or repeating SYSREF (compliant to JESD204B standard) making it an ideal low-power, low-noise clock source for clocking high-speed data converters. Fine delay adjustment is provided in this configuration to account for delay differences of board traces.
