SMART SAM B11 BLE 4.1 SoC
Microchip SAM B11 Ultra-low power Bluetooth® SMART (BLE 4.1) SoC integrates an MCU, Power Management Unit (PMU), transceiver, modem, MAC, PA, and TR switch. The device acts as a standalone Cortex®-M0 applications processor with BLE connectivity and embedded Flash memory. The dedicated ROM stores the qualified Bluetooth Smart protocol stack. The SAM B11 SoC firmware features L2CAP service layer protocols. The L2CAP service layer protocols include Security Manager, Attribute protocol (ATT), Generic Attribute Profile (GATT) and the Generic Access Profile (GAP). In addition, the protocol stack includes and supports application profiles such as proximity, thermometer, heart rate, and blood pressure.
