SN65HVD1785 Transceivers
OMO Electronic' ± 70V, fault protected, half-duplex, 5V RS-485 SN65HVD1785 transceivers feature speed grades of 128kbps/1Mbps/10Mbps and a wide common mode of operation from -20V to +25V. The transceivers are designed to survive over-voltage faults such as direct shorts to power supplies, mis-wiring faults, connector failures, cable crushes, and tool misapplications. The devices feature built-in internal current-limit circuits that allow fault survivability without causing high bus currents that otherwise might damage external components or power supplies.
