Their high breakdown voltage and internal suppression diodes insure freedom from problems associated with inductive loads. Peak inrush currents to 500 mA permit them to drive incandescent lamps. The ULx2003A with a 2.7 kO series input resistor is well suited for systems utilizing a 5.0 V TTL or CMOS Logic.

STMicroelectronics Darlington Devices: STMicroelectronics Darlington Devices are high-voltage, high-current switch arrays containing multiple open-collector Darlington pairs or multiple Darlington transistors with common emitters, and integral suppression diodes for inductive loads. The nominal current rating of each output is 500mA for the 7- and 8-output devices and up to 1.5A for quad-output devices.
