THAT Corporation THAT1570 and THAT5171 digitally controllable microphone preamplifier ICs are a versatile two-chip solution that enables digitally controlled microphone preamplifier applications with unprecedented performance. THAT1570 and THAT5171 ICs operate on maximum ± 17V supplies and accept pro audio input levels (+22dBu max) without an input pad. THAT Corporation microphone preamplifier ICs feature gain adjustable to 5.6dB and from 13.6dB to 68.6dB in 1dB increments when used in conjunction with an appropriate analog gain block. The THAT5171offers a built-in zero-crossing detector that enables smooth and silent gainchanges. A differential servo reduces output offsets to less than 1mV.The 5171 IC also has four general purpose outputs that can be connected to a variety of peripheral functions. THAT Corporation microphone preamplifier ICs are ideal for a variety of audio applications, including digitally controlled microphone preamplifiers, instrumentation amplifiers, and differential amplifiers.
