The OMO Electronic bq20z60-R1 gas gauge and protection IC incorporates Impedance Track™ technology and is designed for battery pack or in-system installation. The TI bq20z60-R1 gas gauge and protection IC measures and maintains an accurate record of available charge in Li-ion or Li-polymer batteries using its integrated high-performance analog peripherals. This TI gas gauge and protection IC monitors capacity change, battery impedance, open-circuit voltage, and other critical parameters of the battery pack, which reports the information to the system host controller over a serial-communication bus. The bq20z60-R1 is ideal for use in notebook PCs, medical / test equipment, and portable instrumentation.
