High Temp SCRs
STMicroelectronics High Temp SCRs are used in controlled rectifier bridges, current limiters, AC relays or as HV crowbar protection for SMPS. The SCRs perfectly suit compact equipment and are 12-80A 600-1200V range rated at a 150°C Tj. The 150°C junction temperature gives headroom for smaller heatsink and higher load control whether for solid state relays or motor starters.

TN1205H High Temperature 12A SCRs
Available in standard gate triggering levels, STMicroelectronics' TN1205H High Temperature 12 Amp SCRs have a very high switching capability up to a junction temperature of 150°C. These TN1205H High Temperature 12 Amp SCRs fit all modes of control found in applications such as overvoltage crowbar protection, motor control circuits in power tools and kitchen aids, inrush current limiting circuits, capacitive discharge ignition and voltage regulation circuits mainly in areas on which the ambient temperature is hot with difficult ventilation or increase of power density is required. Through-hole or surface-mount packages of these STMicroelectronics TN1205H High Temperature 12 Amp SCRs provide performance in a limited space area.
