TinyCircuits ASD2163-R Radio TinyShield is designed for long-range communication between radios with an open-field range of up to 100 meters. TinyShield is set to operate at 2.4GHz and can transmit up to 2Mbps. The device's signal makes it ideal for outdoor sensors or radio control of drones and vehicles. The TinyShield is based on the Nordic NRF24L01+ radio transceiver. The board includes a U.FL antenna connection in addition to a 2.4GHz whip antenna. TinyShield incorporates a voltage regulator to ensure proper and safe operation over the TinyDuino operating voltage range up to 5V.
