The HMC305SLP4E is a broadband 5-bit positive control Silicon IC digital attenuator with CMOS compatible serial-to-parallel driver package in a leadless QFN 4x4 mm SMT package. Covering 0.4 to 6 GHz, the insertion loss is typically less than 1.6 dB. The attenuator bit values are 0.5 (LSB), 1, 2, 4, and 8 dB for a total attenuation of 15.5 dB. Attenuation accuracy is excellent at ±0.25 dB typical with an IIP3 of up to +52 dBm. Five bit serial control words are used to select each attenuation state. A single Vcc bias of +3.3V to +5V is required. The HMC305S(E) is a replacement for the HMC305A(E), HMC305B(E) and HMC305(E). HMC305S Digital Step Attenuators
Analog Devices HMC305S Digital Step Attenuators are broadband, positive-control silicon IC digital attenuators. These attenuators operate from 0.4-6GHz using a 3.3-5V single supply voltage. The 5-bit HMC305S attenuators offer bit values of 0.5 (LSB), 1, 2, 4, and 8dB. The devices achieve a total attenuation of 15.5dB with a less than 1.6dB insertion loss. The HMC305S family provides excellent attenuation accuracy with a ±0.25dB bit error and an IIP3 of up to +52dBm. The HMC305S attenuators have a CMOS-compatible, serial-to-parallel driver interface. Designers can use five-bit serial control words to select each attenuation state. HMC305S attenuators' glitch-free safe-state transitions feature ensures the safe operation of the components in the RF signal chain.Learn More
