Microchip's UNI/O™ Serial EEPROMs have a single I/O bus interface and are based on Microchip's UNI/O™ memory-device protocol. The devices are the first single I/O EEPROMs that can support any data rate from 10kHz to 100kHz and the only 1-16K EEPROMs available in a 3-pin SOT-23 package. The devices feature status registers, noise filtering, robust ESD protection for the highest reliability, and software write protection for 1/4, 1/2, or full array. The EEPROMs are ideal for use in portable/handheld and battery-powered devices in automotive, medical, consumer electronic, and industrial markets.
