AP65251 Synchronous DC-DC Buck Converter
Diodes Incorporated AP65251 2A Adaptive Constant On-time (aCOT) Mode Synchronous DC-DC Buck Converter integrates a control algorithm to improve efficiency at light loads. AP65251's aCOT control scheme handles wide input to output voltage ratios. The AP65251 transitions seamlessly between continuous conduction mode (CCM) at higher load conditions and discontinuous conduction mode (DCM) at lighter loads. DCM enables the AP65251 to maintain highly efficient performance at light load conditions. To protect the circuit, AP65251 provides UVLO, Over Temperature Protection (OTP), thermal shutdown, and Overcurrent Protection (OCP).
