High Temp SCRs
STMicroelectronics High Temp SCRs are used in controlled rectifier bridges, current limiters, AC relays or as HV crowbar protection for SMPS. The SCRs perfectly suit compact equipment and are 12-80A 600-1200V range rated at a 150°C Tj. The 150°C junction temperature gives headroom for smaller heatsink and higher load control whether for solid state relays or motor starters.

STMicroelectronics TM8050H-8W 80A High Temperature Thyristor (SCR) is housed in a high-power TO-247 package and is suitable when power switching and power dissipation is critical. The TM8050H-8W is suitable as a motorbike voltage regulator, by-pass AC switch, controlled rectifier bridge, solid state relay, battery charger, welding equipment and motor driver applications. The TM8050H-8W is available in through hole TO-247 package.
