Delivery is fast. Module working "out of the box". Loaded briefly up to 18.5 a (up to 170 w) on the output, and the protection does not work! The seller has written protection works at 15a. According to datasheet lt3800, 150 mv is required for protection response. For 15a current and 150mv drop need shunt 10 mohm. At the same time, the shunt will dissipate 2,25 watts. It costs the same in the module 7.5 mΩ, i.e. Current protection 20a. Perhaps therefore there are reviews that when checking the kz module fail. I put the shunts two to 25 mohm i.e. Amount of 12.5 mohm and protection works about 12a. By load, i would say so. 50 w for module long-term mode, 100 w normal load but with high heating, all the above need to actively cool. As written in another recall, the chip is heated, the heat dissipation of the radiator from the back of the plans is small. Details are brazed crooked.

***ineon: The TLE94112EL is a protected twelve-fold half-bridge driver designed especially for automotive motion control applications such as Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) flap DC motor control. It is part of a larger family offering half-bridge drivers from three outputs to twelve outputs with direct interface or SPI interface. The half bridge drivers are designed to drive DC motor loads in sequential or parallel operation. Operation modes forward (cw), reverse (ccw), brake and high impedance are controlled from a 16-bit SPI interface. It offers diagnosis features such as short circuit, open load, power supply failure and overtemperature detection. In combination with its low quiescent current, this device is attractive among others for automotive applications.
