Comchip Technology TVS / ESD suppressor diodes are designed for use in a variety of digital circuit protection applications including computer peripheral ports (IEEE 1284, USB, Firewire, SCSI, gaming, video, keyboard, and DC power), industrial control systems, and audio and network equipment. Comchip TVS / ESD suppressor diodes have characteristics of low capacitance, ultra-fast response time, and stable breakdown that give them significant application advantages over metal oxide varistors. These Comchip TVS / ESD suppressors are RoHS compliant and offer a 16KV ESD suppression at 8/20us transient rating (IEC 61000-4-2).
